A solar storm hit Earth this weekend, and we happened to be out of the city, camping at Te Arai Point. There wasn’t a lot to see with the naked eye – just a bit of a shifting tint on the horizon – but my iPhone camera caught some pretty dramatic colours with 3-second exposures.
