Nice read there. Cheers.
I would note that his plan sounds a little destructive - I dunno if it was just my reading, but if we were to somehow maintain our infrastructure, while breaking our dependence apon the system, it would be cooler. So to me, his initial stage sounds appealing (decreasing expenses, living simply, etc…), but his final end seems wasteful.

Awesome, utterly awesome. What else is there to say. This guy appears to have such a calmly clinical mind and yet such alternative views. A prophet of destruction that speaks coherently.
Challenging and scary.
Food for thought.
I’m just off to find a dumpster.

I’m reminded of a situation about a year ago, when I was working in the stockroom at The Warehouse Bush Inn. We had to throw out a lot of stock that was unsellable for various reasons - soiled clothing, knife sets that were missing a few of the knives, damaged furniture and so on. When putting the stock in the skip, we had to damage it further to discourage anyone from stealing it; the skip was also locked up at night. Of course, I went along with all of this, but I couldn’t help but be appalled by the waste, especially of the more useful things like kitchen items. Yeah.
