Heheh, they mixed up “bought” and “sold” in a headline. That’s always funny!

Not really… sloppy grammar maybe, but: “Alzheimer victim [was] sold 11 organs” makes sense.

Heh, I know; I was being deliberately obtuse :).

(Actually when I first read it I was enumerating the list of non-essential organs: lessee, one kidney, you can lose the spleen but there’s no demand for them, maybe one lung, do we count skin?, etc. etc…. in summary, as one girl said to be yesterday, “Computers and medicine? You’re, like, the ultimate geek!”)

The other alternative is that an Alzheimer victim sold 11 organs (as in musical instruments) … That sentence construction also makes sense :P

either way its one strange headline!
