Blog Crisis
The question I’m asking myself currently is “what is this blog for?” I’ve had a few hassles (see in particular this comment), so I’m taking a bit of time to try and figure out where I want to head with this.
India
Initially the plan was for my blog to be a way to keep in touch when I was in India, and a way for people to get some idea of the average day for someone working on the other side of the world. That plan hasn’t changed; I just haven’t got to India yet. Probably, some time before I go I’ll set up a new category, and point all the extra visitors at that. It shouldn’t change too much—if I think it’s likely to cause me to change what I post too much, I’ll come up with another solution.
Work
Work-wise, there are some exciting times ahead. In particular, myself, Brehaut and Gus have a project in the pipeline. This project may or may not require my blog to move. More on this later (I think I may have said that before). [If you need a website, talk to one of us ;-).]
Anyway…
In the end, I think my blog will always be available somewhere, in some form, for you guys. It may change somewhat (perhaps a greater number of smaller posts), but it will always be me, and it will always be written primarily for people I know. If I want to do anything else, I’ll get another blog.
